Northern Indiana Business Magazine Wins International Award for Second Time
The APEX 2008 Awards for Publication Excellence recognized Building Indiana News at its 20th Annual Awards program. It’s the second time that Building Indiana News has been honored at the annual, international competition, which recognizes writers, editors, publications staff, and business and non-profit communicators. The northern Indiana business magazine first won an APEX Award in 2006. Building Indiana News covers business news throughout Lake, Porter, La Porte, St. Joseph, Starke, Newton, and Jasper counties.
The APEX Awards recognize excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness. Started in fall 2005, Building Indiana News has grown from a 16-page newsletter to an 80-page, bi-monthly publication that is read by more than 17,000 leading decision makers throughout northwest Indiana.
“The award is a shining illustration of the team-driven approach we utilize in the making of Building Indiana News,” Publisher Andrea Pearman said.
