APEX Award The APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an annual competition for writers, editors, publications staff and business and nonprofit communicators. 2008 marks the 20th annual APEX Awards. The awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. Building Indiana News received this award in the category of New Magazines & Journals. Winners for the 2008 competition were chosen from nearly 4,500 submissions.

The Hermes Gold Award The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals describes the Hermes award as "honoring the messengers and creators of traditional and emerging media." An international competition, the award honors creative professionals in a variety of industries, including corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, web based innovators and freelancers.

Marcom Award MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Building Indiana News won in the Industry Magazine category in both 2006 and 2007. Winners were chosen from over 5,000 entries from the United States as well as several foreign countries. Approximately 16 percent of entries received Gold awards. |
